Giving Through Your Will
You can remember the Milwaukee Curling Association in your will or living trust through a specific asset or dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the residue of your estate. You also can designate the Association as a contingency if one of your beneficiaries passes away. You can potentially reduce estate taxes and experience the joy of knowing your estate will serve the community for years to come. Please contact your personal estate planner to make a gift through your will.
Giving Securities and Other Appreciated Property
Stocks, bonds and other appreciated assets also can serve as charitable gifts. Please contact Chuck Severson for more information or to make a gift of securities or appreciated property.
Charitable Remainder Trust
A charitable remainder trust is one of the most flexible ways of making a charitable gift that helps preserve your estate. This irrevocable trust provides a lifetime income for you or other living beneficiaries that you choose. Income payments can be a fixed amount or a variable amount of the trust principal, depending on your financial needs. You also choose the trust payment rate and timing of income payments. Upon the passing of the income beneficiaries, the remaining trust principal is transferred to the Milwaukee Curling Association. Please contact your personal estate planner to establish a charitable remainder trust.
You also can help Milwaukee Curling Association by donating a life insurance policy you already have in place or by purchasing a policy for the purpose of making a gift. Please contact your personal life insurance carrier to make a gift through your life insurance.
